Below we are going to fully ellaborate more on the Imo state University Owerri cut off mark for 2018, 2019, 2020, 2021 admission section.

What meaning of cut of marks?

Cut off mark is a benchmark set for departments to select prospective students who are seeking admission into a particular faculty.

How to derive at cut of marks?

The cut off mark is determined most times by the performance of the students.
To meet or arrive at the cut off mark the aggregates of the students needs to be high. The aggregate is derived by adding the jamb and UTME score and divide by two.

For example: Precious is seeking admission into Theatre Arts in Imsu and the cut off mark for Theatre Arts in Imsu is 230.
Meanwhile, Precious scored 220 in her jamb and 250 in her post UTME; we add the scores together that’s 220 +250=470. Then 470 ÷ 2 = 235. So then Precious aggregate is 235. It means Precious meets up with the cut off mark and will be offered admission on merit.
